For centuries, politicians have bent the truth, twisted facts, and manipulated people’s worst fears If those tactics didn’t work, they just made stuff up. All to get elected. All because of their desire of their own wealth and power.

Now,  more and more people are relying on non-traditional news sources in which the contents is  not fact checked. Much of the information being reported as news, is really  opinion. It’s getting harder to know what is True or Fake any more.

Perhaps it started with The National Enquirer. It was so easy to airbrush a photo of a bat and a baby’s picture to look like “BatBoy”.  And a lot of people believed the Batboy stories were true. Then came Photoshop, and now Artificial Intelligence, challenging our own intelligence. All tools to bend, twist, and manipulate our views by politicians, their parties, and supporters.

Politician Fact Checker was created to provide accurate information on critical topics of concern. We identified twelve of the top political issues on the minds of voters. We wanted to make it easy. Here’s how it works: pick one topic most important to you. Or, perhaps,  just the issues most important to you – or all of them!

We present to you the Presidential Candidate’s position on each of these twelve issues. You can also select your Senators or Legislators to see how they voted on bills related to these issues. You don’t have to read every speech. It would make your head explode. Or do the data dumps we have to do to get the information our website provides. But, if you want to, we provide you with links to do a deep dive.

We draw from the political candidates’ own official websites, transcripts from their speeches and Republican and Democratic Party Platforms. No Blogs, No e-blasts, or social media posts, and only very limited third party sources that have been vetted.
